Elbeth Gillis unveils her 2019 Bridal collections
We are super excited to show you what Elbeth has designed for the year ahead! In fact, Elbeth proudly presents two collections for 2019: Luminescence and Arniston Blue.
Elbeth is well known for her exquisite shoots, and every year we look forward to seeing where Elbeth and her team will shoot. This year they decided to shoot in Arniston, a small seaside town along the south coast of South Africa. The two collections come alive in the town’s warm sunlight. The shoot itself played a game of tag, moving from the beach’s soft dunes to the quaint village to the famed sea cave for which Arniston is known.
Elbeth’s two collections complement one another seamlessly in their elegance and uncompromising style. Luminescence is made up of full-length gowns, while Arniston Blue continues the legacy of Milk and Honey and Opulence with mix-and-match separates. These mix-and-match separates have been a real hit with brides because of the opportunity it provides them to create their own look.
Luminescence: Gowns to make you glow
Luminescence is a 10-gown collection that will make any bride glow. Soft and gentle, yet dazzling and alluring, this collection reveals Elbeth’s masterful ability to curate beauty and style. Gowns dance between diaphanous, tulle-covered skirts with shimmering, hand-beaded bodices and gently-falling, satin skirts with demur, floral-appliqued bodices. Necklines alternately plunge or brush the collarbones.
Arniston Blue: Sun-kissed separates
Arniston Blue has a plethora of choices for the bride who wants to feel sun-kissed and golden. There are seven tops and six skirts, and it’ll be hard to choose the best combination because they’re all gorgeous in their own, unique way. Brides can choose from flowy chiffon skirts to soft mermaids with sweeping trains to full-circle skirts with embroidered florals – there’s even an exotic, full-length ostrich feather skirt that is just marvelous. The tops are all romantic and delicate, with florals and leaf motifs, either appliqued or embroidered.
